The Particulars

I've been getting asked a lot of questions about the details on this diet. Questions have ranged from innocent to condescending, from fascinated to awkwardly disgusted. I figured I might as well answer some of the basic questions here, if not for everyone else's sake than for my own so that I might have a script to refer to next time someone asks me. If you've any questions of your own, please feel free to ask.

Today's project: The Who, What, Where, When, Why and How of this weight loss plan.

  1. I hope this isn't condescending... but have you asked a doctor about the shakes? Over the summer I was doing Slim Fast and exercising and it made me super dizzy and depressed and I didn't like it... That's before I started the trainer though. It just seems like... kind of scary! I'm just worried... do they have everything you need nutrition-wise?

  2. Yes! I plan to address this further whenever I can get my lazy ass to write The How, but yes, the shakes are completely safe, doctor approved and provide all of the nutrients I need. I take a supplementary fiber capsule and multivitamin every day just to be sure, but yeah... it's golden. :] Thanks for the concern though!
